1969
He was born in 1946 at Village Vehung , Ghaziabad in the family of Police Inspector Shri G S Tyagi. As a student of the Final Years of B E (Civil), Sh T P Tyagi won the best All Rounder Award for Standing First in order of Merit, excelling as a Gymnast and also getting Elected As General Secretary of the Student’s Union of Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur.
1971
Lieutenant T P Tyagi was decorated with the National Gallantry Award of “ Vir Chakra“ during 1971 Indo Pakistan war for displaying exceptional courage in making temporary tank crossing on UBDC and bringing back his five dangerously wounded soldiers from the enemy village in the face of bullets, enemy and death.
1992
He did M Tech (Marine Structures) from Mysore University on deputation from Army and established a new Record. Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi revived the sick Project , R & R Hospital , Delhi Cantt, as Commander Works Engineer. This prestigious project was lying almost abandoned since last 4 years; compared to Apollo Hospital in Delhi, R & R Hospital was constructed at almost one tenth cost in spite of catering for more Beds and more Super Specialties. He also revived a sick project called “West Wall Jetty” at Visakhapatnam and constructed a “Degaussing Basin”, first in India, at Vizag Port.
2000
Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi was honoured with Er. Hari Memorial Award by the Institution of Engineers (India). He was also elected as Development Chairman of the Institution of Vastu Science (India). His Book “Vaastu with Science and Logic” has been accepted by the Govt. for 128 reputed Libraries.
2010
After retirement in March 2001, Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi founded “ Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha ( An organization of Patriotic Civilians and the Ex-servicemen (www.sainiksanstha.com) which has already moved to twenty two States of the Country with the Weapon and Slogan of “ Jai Hind “. And, the move is unabated. He has also authored a Book titled as “Aaz Mere Desh Ko Subash Chahiye”.
2015 till date
During this period Col Tyagi was elected as the National General Secretary of the Foundation for Religious Harmony and Universal Peace ( FRHUP ) , which was founded by the former Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Shri M N Venkatachalliha . He was also elected as the Chief Convener of A Pan India National Apex Body of RWAs called Confederation of RWA ( CoRWA ) & Chairman of the Flat Owner Federation Ghaziabad . As Chief Convener of CoRWA from 2013 till date he organised 10 annual National Conferences of RWAs in different Cities and 3 All India Mayors & RWAs Summit.
