April 2, 2021, 133 B Modal Town East, Ghaziabad – Today here, President of Khurja city unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, patriot Vaibhav Garg freed some parrots from the hands of Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
Actually, it happens that because of being beautiful, people catch parrots by trapping them and put them in the cage. The parrot has 20 left wings and 20 right wings. Before putting them in the cage, half the feathers on both sides of the parrots, ie ten ten, are cut in half so that they cannot fly.
President of Khurja unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Mr. Vaibhav Garg told that he first buys a caged parrot and then uproots their half-cut feathers (the parrot does not feel pain in this process). A caged parrot can be bought for 200 to 400 rupees. Broken feathers come new in two months. For two months, he keeps the parrots with him and then frees the parrot.
Shri Vaibhav Garg is doing this work since last 15 years. Earlier they used to serve the injured pigeons and now they are engaged in freeing the imprisoned parrots. So far 157 parrots have been freed from the cage. Today some parrots were freed from the cage by the hands of Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi.
According to the Birds Act of 2013, confining parrots in cages is a legal offense. Therefore, today most of the district officials of western Uttar Pradesh are being requested in writing to pass an order banning the caged parrots against the law. Please give your cooperation to Shri Vaibhav Garg in freeing the imprisoned parrots.
