16 January 2021 , Headquarters Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha , 133 B Modal Town East, Ghaziabad – A national webinar on social responsibility was organized by the education wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha here today.
In the webinar Lt Gen AKS Chandela, Major General PK Sehgal, Major General Ranjit Singh, Major General Professor Dr SS Dasaka, Commander Hari Shankar Sharma, Dr Vinod Tibrewala, Major General GS Lamba, Col Tejendra Pal Tyagi, Major Sushil Goyal, Sachin Gupta, Ajay Singh, Vivin Ahuja, Dr. Sapna Bansal, Chetna Seni, Neelam Gupta, Commander Kumresh Sharma, Mrs. Urvashi Walia, Mr. Rajeshwar Prasad Tyagi, former Secretary to Government of Kerala, Mr. Shankaran Suvaiya gave their views.
Starting the webinar, the National President of the organization, Col Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that the principle of Win Win Situation is taught in all the institutions of India. It's not completely right. Imagine that if confectioners and food inspectors, contractors and engineers, traders and income tax officers come to Win Win Situation, will the consumer, landlord and the people of the country not suffer?
Lt Gen AKS Chandele told that if the street vendor and the customer win, then the Win Win Situation is correct. If the village's Dudhiya and Amul win, then this principle is correct otherwise it is not.
Overall, the conclusion of all the speakers was that just as Corporation is Social Responsibility, in the same way Individual Social Responsibility should also be defined. Whatever I am doing, there is no harm to others - this should be the basis of personal responsibility. It is also a personal social responsibility not to spread negative thoughts and actions in the society.
Education is subsidized in India. The concession comes from tax. Poor man also pays tax on salt. That is, whoever has got education in India has the karma of the poor. That is, the more capable he is, the more responsibility he has.
Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha will also prepare an SOP in this regard which will be circulated on a large scale.
