Tolerance may be a part of personal character but for national security tolerance should be zero

10 September 2024, Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, NH 24, Ghaziabad – Today, Dean and Proctor Colonel S L Kapoor and Shri Aditya Pratap Singh organized a student dialogue program for B.Tech first year. 1200 students participated in it. Colonel Kapoor welcomed the guest speaker, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi by presenting a plant.

Addressing the B.Tech students and teachers, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that forgiveness and tolerance are good for personal character but at the national level, forgiveness and tolerance should be zero. Prithvi Raj Chauhan had no national right to forgive Mohammad Ghori.

Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi told the students today that he is fortunate to have got admission in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. Some research facilities in this college are even more than IIT. Drone Academy is also being built in this college. Drones will be of utmost importance in the coming wars. He said that this college has also been given the responsibility of coordinating One District, One Product in Uttar Pradesh and now it is going to become a university soon. Not only this, skill development programs are also being organized here for retired army soldiers.

The B.Tech students were given information on the problems of the country and the city and their solutions, suggestions to fight terrorism, schemes to reduce air pollution, alternatives for garbage disposal such as sanitary landfills instead of dumping grounds, etc.

He told the students that for success it is necessary to work beyond the duty and question what is visible. Believe something only when it stands the test of logic and truth.

In the end, everyone took a pledge to say Jai Hind and make others say Jai Hind in mutual greetings instead of Good Morning, Namaste, Aadab Arz or Sat Shri Akal in public places.
