It takes time for coordination among them and due to the high reaction time, the terrorists escape. Therefore, instead of joint operations, there should be a single counter insurgency command. Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Patron of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Shri Rajan Chhibber said that there are sleeping cells of terrorists in the border villages and they have some political protection. In such a situation, settling ex-servicemen on the border will prove to be a game changer.
