22 June 2024, SKIC Centre, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir: Today, the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha organized a program called “Salute to Gallantry”. Inaugurating the program online, Hon’ble Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, Governor of Uttarakhand, said that whenever there has been a good change in the country, it has come only when the saints and soldiers have raised their voice together. The presence of Swami Chidananda Saraswati Ji, founder of Parmarth Niketan Ashram and Guru Dr. Pawan Sinha Ji, founder of Pawan Chintan Dhara Ashram, in this program is an indication that something even better is going to happen. Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha is not an organization but a school of thought. Anyone who has thoughts like soldiers can join it, whether he is an ex-serviceman or a patriotic citizen. I do not see any other organization at the national level of pride fighters and patriotic citizens as clean, pure and unblemished as this organization. I am praising this because true praise is like oxygen and one should not be stingy in giving oxygen. Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor Mr. Rajan Chhibber, Major General Mohan Lal Aswal and Jammu & Kashmir Bank Director Mr. R.K. Chhibber said in their own words that the courage displayed by the Indian Army soldiers in the north and south of the Pir Panjal Ranges in Kashmir, without caring for their own comfort, in the face of death and the enemy, is beyond words, praiseworthy and exemplary. The special thing is that the risk is on our head 24x7, not just from today but from a long time and continuously, yet our soldiers are showing more courage than we expected. We salute them.
The guests released the “Coffee Table Book” of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
Shri Guru Dr. Pawan Sinha ji said that if courage was sold in the market, everyone would buy it. The rich man would be the first to buy it. It is said that only those who are courageous enjoy the pleasures of the earth. It is because of courage that small countries often challenge big and powerful countries and the same happens with the common man in everyday life. I am happy that today I am addressing the proud soldiers of Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan and the brave patriotic citizens and the brave women who reflect Rani Lakshmibai. Victory comes from courage. I believe that courage can also be increased through military training. This is the reason why military training and military service are compulsory in many countries. Kashmir was the land of Buddhism and Sufism which has been turned into a land of terror. Now only saints and soldiers together can bring about change here.
National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that the objectives of this organization are energizing - reawakening of patriotism, respect for the families of martyred soldiers, eradication of the ills prevalent in the country and basic military training in schools. He said that every soldier is a living reflection of discipline, training, dedication and honesty. All these things are taught to a soldier. If these things are made known to the civil society even at a symbolic level with examples, character building will begin. If this work starts from schools, the foundation of the nation will also be strong because the things taught in schools stay in the mind for life. The objective is skill and courage. The chief guest of the program, Swami Chidananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj, CMD, founder of Parmarth Niketan Ashram Rishikesh, said that training to play with difficulties gives birth to courage. The effort to stand with the truth increases courage. Living with courageous proud fighters also has an induction effect of courage. And the truth is that courage is the basis of character building. Although the responsibility of character building begins from home, but courage is instilled by just participating in programs like today. Courage is also required to serve humanity and God. Today we announce the permanent connection of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha with Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Today, for the first time in 75 years, an NGO has organized such a program in Srinagar. I say, we don't grieve for what is gone, but what is left is no less.
