Be a laborer for success i.e. stay away from pleasure

1 June 2024, Gurudev Defence School, Swarn Jayanti Puram Park, Govindpuram: Today, the annual program of the school was organized by the Director of Gurudev Defence School, Mr. Yogesh Chaudhary, in which awards were given to those children who have been admitted to Sainik Schools this year.

The chief guest of the program, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, while distributing the awards, told the children that for success one has to become a laborer, that is, one has to stay away from fun. Hard work never goes in vain. Sooner or later, hard work definitely pays off. Colonel Tyagi told the children three main principles and also urged their parents present to consider the child's success as the success of the family and work on the following points:

1. Do not believe what you see without questioning it. Questions should also be asked until the thing seen on the touchstone of logic and truth goes down the throat.

2. Do a little more work than the given work. This is called "Beyond the Call of Duty". If you complete your work then you fall in the category of average. Make sure that you not only complete the work given to you, but also do a little more than that.

3. Never Give Up – People consider getting less marks in the exam or coming fifth in the race as failure. If all this does not happen then success is dishonesty. Remember that after failing, when you succeed, you become stronger than before.

On this occasion Colonel Sudhir Kumar, Advocate Satyapal Singh Yadav, Shri Manoj Chaudhary, Shri Jitendra Singh, students of Guru Dev Defence School, teachers, teachers and parents of students were present in large numbers.
