Initial military training was given in a huge farm house established in 48 acres in Yavatmal. The founder of the farm house, Shri Narsing Jadhav welcomed the patriotic citizens and Gaurav Senani who came from various places of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha. He inspected the cowshed built in the farm house and said that just as the people of South East Asia had wholeheartedly supported Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, similarly today we announce to give full support to Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha with body, mind, money and guns. On this occasion, the youths who received initial military training showed their skills, explained the drills of disaster management and pledged to say Jai Hind instead of Good Morning, Satshri Akaal, Aadab Arz, Namaste at public places.
Brig. Sunil Gaupande, member of the National Administrative Council of Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan, told that last night the strong winds had uprooted the entire tent here. At that time, these youths with full enthusiasm and consciousness re-established the tent made for 1000 persons in no time. This was disaster management at the ground level.
Chairman of Urban Corporate Bank Ajay Moondhara and President of Indian Medical Association Maharashtra Dr. B.E. Rathore, President of Maharashtra Youth Wing Mr. Pankaj Asati, National Advisor of Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan Kumari Sangeeta Yadav told from their experiences that Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan is going to become a storm soon. Major General Mohan Lal Aswal said that today, at the national level, there is no other organisation of pride fighters and patriotic citizens like the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha which has a clean, pure character and an unblemished organisation.
Shri Harish Chand Badrinath Rathore had started giving training in disaster management even before the formation of NDRF in the country and today all the MLAs and MPs from this region have assured to give a part of their funds for training through the District Magistrate of Yavatmal. This same team of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha had participated in the rescue and relief operations in the Kedarnath tragedy. The surprising thing is that not only the number of men in Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha is increasing but the number of women is increasing more than men.
