4 September 2023, Auditorium of Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh – Today, with great enthusiasm and zeal, Prof. A highly informative seminar on the topic 'Role of Youth in Nation Building' was organized by DSW and Teachers Department in collaboration with NSS, YRC, Scouts and Guides and NCC under the supervision of (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar. In the program, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Haryana Central University, Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Guest of Honor Colonel Tajendra Pal Tyagi (President of Rashtriya Sainik Sansthan awarded with Vir Chakra), Chief Guest Shri Rajan Chhibber (Adviser to Andhra Pradesh Government and Skoda Group), Guest of Honor Major General (Dr.) Ranjit Singh. Former Vice Chancellor of Haryana Central University and awardee of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal (Retired) Naveen Bamel was present.
The chief guest of the program, Andhra Pradesh Advisor Mr. Rajan Chhibber said that half of the problems go away only when you wake up early in the morning. He said that the youth should work like laborers, that is, they should stay away from fun. He also said that the success achieved by working honestly is permanent and praiseworthy.
Major General Ranjit Singh, Chancellor of Central University of Haryana, told the youth that there is no short cut to success. Hard work is necessary for this. Giving an example, he said that even at this age I am showing it by doing Peacock Asana. I expect my students to continue improving their physical and mental health. General Ranjit Singh ji has been the Chancellor of this university for about 7 months and he has done so much work in such a short time that today everyone from peons to lecturers, from students to students, from professors to villagers, are still standing to greet him.
President of Delhi Youth Wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Shri Naveen Bemal prepared the outline of today's program and introduced all the guests to the present faculty.
National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that there is a difference between personal character and national character. Tolerance may be a part of personal character but not of national character. If Prithvi Raj Chauhan had not forgiven Mohammad Ghori in the first instance, the history of the country would have been different today. That is, for the security of the country, even if one has to sacrifice punishment to measure one's character, one should do so.
Hundreds of faculty including Professor Renu Yadav, Professor Dinesh Chahal, Professor Sushma Yadav, Professor Anand Sharma, Shri Ram Swaroop Cama, Professor Sanjeev were present on this occasion.
