14 August 2023, 8th NDRF Battalion, Govindpuram, Ghaziabad - Today, on 14th August, in the 8th Battalion NDRF located in Ghaziabad, "Salute to the Brave" in honor of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army under the "Meri Mati Mera Desh" campaign. The ceremony was organized. Former Indian Army officer Colonel TP Tyagi attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Colonel TP Tyagi was welcomed by NDRF Battalion Commandant Praveen Kumar Tiwari. On this occasion, Colonel TP Tyagi remembered the martyrs by laying a wreath in honor of the martyrs at the NDRF 'Shaheed Sthal'. During the program, Colonel TP Tyagi addressed the NDRF soldiers at the NDRF Shaheed Auditorium and in his passionate address, he recalled the scene of 1947 and those moments when the country gained independence and told what is the real meaning of independence.

  Commandant Praveen Kumar Tiwari honored Colonel TP Tyagi with the NDRF insignia along with thanks for attending the function. All the officers of NDRF battalion were present on this occasion.
