9 July 2023, Sahil Hotel, City Mall Center, Mumbai Central – A meeting of the Mumbai unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha was organized here today. In the meeting, Gaurav Senani Mumbai Unit President Kishan Lokhande gave information about the Orphan Ashram in which he is currently taking care of 200 orphans. Dr. Archana Deshmukh, president of the women's wing of the Mumbai unit of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, gave information about the women's upliftment programmes. On this occasion, Mr. Guddu Gupta was made the president of Mumbai unit's youth wing, Mr. Mahesh Suresh Savle was made the convenor of Mumbai unit's education wing. Mrs. Akanksha Tyagi was nominated as the State Coordinator of the Education Wing. The group photo of the administrative committee is attached.
Commander of the Navy, Kumresh Sharma was declared the patron of the Mumbai unit on the occasion. Gaurav fighter Ram Singh, Captain Shashikant Mishra, Divyang Gaurav fighter Raj Kumar Patil, Gaurav fighter Dilawar Khan, Shaurya Chakra recipient Captain Madhu Sudhan can be included in the administrative committee of Mumbai unit. Mr. Om Prakash Chauhan alias Don has been nominated as the convenor of the Mumbai unit.
A slide show of the main activities organized by Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi was presented. He decided the future strategy and gave information about public meetings of ex-servicemen and patriotic citizens to be organized on August 11 at Etawah and on December 31, 2023 at Swami Chidanand Saraswati ji's ashram in Rishikesh.
It was also informed today that a temporary school for poor children is being run by the women's wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha in Hardoi since last one year. Similarly, in Ghaziabad, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha's office bearer Squadron Leader Narendra Uniyal and his wife Mrs. Aarti Uniyal are also running a temporary school for poor children for the last few months. Such activities of public service are being conducted at places like Dewas of Madhya Pradesh, Pune of Maharashtra, Muzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh etc.
