The chief guest of the event, Honorable Shri Narendra Singh Yadav, former minister of Uttar Pradesh, said that we can sleep peacefully only because of the soldiers.

National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that the whole country is witness to the fact that whenever there is a natural disaster or a man-made disaster in the country, usually the army is called and the situation is under control. comes There has been a landslide in North Kashi, there has been an earthquake in Bhuj, there has been a tsunami in Andaman, there has been a flood in Calcutta, there has been a bridge collapse in the Commonwealth Games, there has been a drought in Orissa, there has been communal riots in Lucknow, that is, any abnormal situation. The army was called in and the disaster was brought under control. Imagine that in India of 140 crores, there is only an army of about 14 lakhs, which has to protect about 8,000 km of sea coast and more land borders. There must be something special in an army soldier that he should do his work and also control disasters. What is special about this is - conscientiousness, training, discipline and honesty. The same measure of character is also in the ex-servicemen. 90% of the soldiers of the army retire at the age of about 35 years. There is no definite rehabilitation plan for them.
Now the second question arises that there are at least 2% disabled in the country i.e. around 3 crores. From 1947 till date, many military soldiers have also become disabled in different operations and wars, whose number is also in thousands. It is also true that a country is identified more than its GDP by the fact that how much the people of that country take care of their disabled and martyrs.
The disabled should have the first right on the country's resources. Who will ensure this? Only ex-servicemen i.e. proud fighters can do this work. That's why at least one ex-serviceman should be posted on indicative pay in every department of management from bottom to top.
