Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi asked the students taking military training whether the country became independent on 15th August? The question arises that what happened on 15th August? Had we won a war, or had the enemy lost a war, or had England, who ruled over us, been defeated in the Second World War. Was there such a big movement in India on August 15 that the British ran away in fear? Actually the opposite happened. India was partitioned. History is the witness that entire trains from Pakistan reached India full of mutilated dead bodies and raped girls. The scene was gruesome. People were crying. The displaced people were not even given a place to live in those religious places, which were allowed to stay in safe India at the behest of the then leaders. In such a situation, celebrating Independence Day on August 15 with joy and gaiety is like rubbing salt on the wounds of those families who have suffered the tragedy of partition. Celebrating Independence Day on 15th August is a symbol of slavery. Freedom is not given in alms.
On October 21, 1943, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose formed the Azad Hind government of united India. This government was recognized by 11 countries in ten days, in which Russia and Germany were included. He himself was the first prime minister of this government. Today all the children took a pledge that we will celebrate Independence Day on 21st October.
Govindpuram convenor of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha Mr. Manoj Chowdhary said that the time has come to change the wrong history. He thanked Colonel Tyagi and being the chief guest of the program, presented him a mug with his picture saying that while drinking tea, think about the future of the next generation and do not reduce your campaign.
