February 4, 2022 , Headquarters Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha , 133 B Modal Town East, Ghaziabad - Today here the Additional District Magistrate Administration Mrs. Ritu Suhas, Manager of Sainik School Rewari Major Avinash Singh, Mr. Arun Kumar Drivedi of Sainik School, Haryana, of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pilkhua Principal Shri Jagdish Chandra Gupta, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha came to the residence of Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, recipient of Vir Chakra and discussed about setting up of Sainik School in village Bihang.

 

Colonel Tyagi, under the proposal of the Ministry of Defense, in which it has been decided to establish 100 Sainik Schools, said that if permission is given to open Sainik School in village Bihang, then we are ready to give our land for it.

 

Although at present priority is being given to convert the already running schools into Sainik Schools, yet Col. Tyagi's proposal will be sent to the Defense Ministry for sympathetic consideration.

 

Colonel Tyagi said that our proposal is to open Sainik Schools in the village instead of the city so that the no soldiers there get an opportunity to join the army. We also propose that in addition to making soldiers in the education of Sainik School, the 11 duties given in Article 51A of the Constitution should also be included so that we can make the student of raw age a good citizen too.
