30 October 2021, Martyr Memorial Park, Opposite Manan Dham Mandir, Meerut Road Ghaziabad: Today on the call of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, students and teachers of Delhi Public School, Rajnagar gathered, they earned flowers at Shaheed Memorial Park and after that Parikrama of the Martyrs Memorial. Plantation was also done on behalf of the entire school in honor of the martyrs.
Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, who received the Vir Chakra, said in his address that national integration and character building starts from the martyr memorial. The first thing is that the martyr does not belong to any religion or caste but to the whole country and secondly, the martyrdom is called the highest sacrifice. A leader can fight again if he loses the election, but a soldier can sacrifice his life only once. That's why it is called supreme sacrifice. We do Shradh for our ancestors but why not do Shradh for those martyrs, due to which our existence has survived.
Today the children were told that there is a difference between individual character and national character. Compassion, mercy, apology, tolerance, hospitality etc. are part of personal character. National character means to do whatever work is in the interest of the nation, why should it include Deception, Camouflage, Surprise, Deceit.
Forgiving the enemy of the nation is not part of the national character. Had Prithviraj Chauhan not forgiven Mohammad Gauri, history would have been different today.
